How do I know if it will work on my watch?

At time of writing, the BeechBand app is compatible with the following watches:

Google Pixel Watch 1-3

Google Fitbit Ace LTE

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, Ultra, 4, 4 Classic, 5, 5 Pro, 6, 6 Classic, 7

Xiaomi Watch 2, 2 Pro

OnePlus 2, X and 2R.

Mobvoi TicWatch Atlas/Pro 5/Pro5 Enduro

OPPO Watch X

To double check compatibility, visit the Google Play Store, select your watch from the drop-down menu (top left) where it says, ‘The Device’, and search for BeechBand. It should indicate whether the app is compatible with your device – great news, if so. You should be able to download and start using the app straight away.

It says it’s not compatible

Don’t give up just yet.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that you have selected your watch in the Google Play store as it defaults to your phone/tablet’s, ‘This Device.’ Compatibility is specific to your watch, not your tablet or phone.

Hopefully that’s resolved any unexpected compatibility issues and you can start using the BeechBand app straight away.

Will it help with my specific issue?

We have to be 100% honest and say we don’t know. The feedback suggests that the BeechBand app can benefit many users, however, results will vary depending on the individual and their specific needs.

Some experience immediate dramatic improvements, others are more subtle and may develop over time.

We have reports of users with chronic symptoms, including those caused by neurological conditions, feeling more comfortable during movement, communication, or daily tasks.

It won’t work for everyone. But we hope you’ll still join our supportive community and share your story. This is just the beginning of our work.

I have an Android watch and Apple phone

Unfortunately, we can’t yet make that combination work yet. You will need an Android phone to download the app.

Don’t worry though, you don’t have to buy an expensive bit of tech to experience the benefits of BeechBand. The original BeechBand is available for general sale as of June 30th 2025, at the affordable launch price of £49.50.  Regular retail price will be £75.

In the meantime, join our supportive community online to share your story and discover some of the ways BeechBand is helping make everyday a little bit better for many, just like you.

Why does it stop after a while?

If you’re using the trial version, it will stop after 2 hours from first use (not continuous use). For the paid version, check the battery management settings in your watch as some options may aggressively terminate applications that have been inactive for a while.

It doesn’t work?

That’s frustrating, but we’re always happy to help. Please send us the details of the issue at support@beechband.com

It works really well!

We always love to hear feedback. In fact, the more information we have, the more people we are able to help. So please share your thoughts with us at support@beechband.com

What about a cheap Android watch?

It is our mission to make BeechBand as accessible and affordable as possible. That said, you won’t be able to use the cheapest smart watches because they do NOT run on Android. Be careful when searching for budget smartwatches. They may claim to be compatible with Android/iOS but often this is referring to the phone and not the watch itself.

I installed the app, how do I use it?

  • On your watch, navigate to apps
  • Select the BB app icon to launch it
  • When opened, it will show either a green START button or red STOP button
  • Choose START and away you go!
  • Don’t forget to join our supportive community online and let us know how you get on

How do I stop it?

Press the red STOP button if it is displayed.

If it’s not visible, as it may be ‘backgrounded’ by Android after some time, go to the app listing, select the BB icon again to bring it back into view, and then press STOP.

How do I uninstall the app?

Go to apps, select BB, and hold down until prompted to uninstall.

Then, press OK/YES.

Will you be developing an app for Apple watches?

We’re working on it! Our mission is to make BeechBand and its benefits available to as many people as possible, as quickly as we can. At this time, we’re looking into whether Apple permits the type of vibration we need. Sign up to our newsletter to stay up to date on all the latest product news. And in the meantime, why not join our supportive community online to share your story and discover more about how BeechBand is helping people in many different ways?

How will the app affect my watch’s battery life?

It’s fair to say that the app does use significant battery power while in use, making it more suitable for occasional rather than continuous use for severe symptoms. It’s not as powerful as the BeechBand device, so will work best for less intense symptoms. With the BeechBand device ready for general release from June, this may be a better option for you to try.

Have detailed medical trials been conducted?

This is a non-invasive, therapeutic method that aims to calm and comfort. Medical trials are currently underway on the unique tapping technique developed by our founder – the inspiration behind the BeechBand’s vibrations – and we’re committed to completing those.

In the meantime, we’re working hard to get the original BeechBand out there, helping as many people as possible before we start further detailed trials.

This has all happened so fast, with the original BeechBand prototype coming together in just 48 hours! And while the band was set out to relieve Carl’s Parkinson’s symptoms, we’ve since heard from a broad community of people that have experienced positive benefits from using the BeechBand. If you want to know how it’s helping them, join them online to see for yourself.

How long should I wear it?

We encourage you to wear your BeechBand throughout the day for optimal benefits. Instead of limiting its use to specific moments, integrating it into your daily routine will enhance its effectiveness. Whether you are engaging in tasks, speaking, moving, or thinking, wearing the BeechBand consistently will help you achieve better results.

It’s worth noting that some users report a temporary increase in symptoms for a short time immediately after taking off the BeechBand.  This is completely normal, and short lived.

What age is best for the BeechBand app?

The app is recommended for use by people 12 years and older, however, we advise that you consult a doctor for specific guidance.

User tips: a few other things to note

tick

Ignore the device

It’s easier said than done, but the best thing to do is put it on and forget about it (it should happen naturally 15-30 minutes in)

tick

Involve friends and family

Others often spot the positive effects first, so keep people around to get their feedback too

tick

It’s different for everyone

Just as we’re all individuals, the effects will vary from person to person: for some there will be a big change, instantly, for others the impact might show up in a different area than expected or come on gradually

tick

Give it at least six weeks

The BeechBand may not be the perfect solution for everyone, but we suggest using it consistently for at least six weeks to see if you notice any changes.

tick

Wearing your band differently

In our experience, adjusting the placement of the device, like switching wrists or wearing it on your ankle, can sometimes make a difference in the results.
