Important The BeechBand is a wellness product, not a medical device. It is not intended for medical use or to replace medical treatment. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, alleviate, or prevent any disease. We advise you to seek medical advice before using your BeechBand if you have any concerns or are using a medical device, such as a pacemaker, or have had DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation).

Your BeechBand has a non-removable, rechargeable battery. You can charge it using a standard USB-C cable connected to the port on the side of the case. Charge your BeechBand fully before you start using it. If you are wearing your BeechBand, take it off.

Attach a USB-C charging cable (not supplied) to the charging port on the side.

Plug the other end of the cable into a 5V USB power source (like a USB plug or socket). A red light should be visible near the On/Off button whilst the band is charging.

Make sure your BeechBand is switched off whilst charging.

Allow your BeechBand to charge for 45 minutes. A green light should be visible near the On/Off button when charging is complete. Once charged, remove the cable before putting your BeechBand on.

Wearing Your BeechBand

You can wear your BeechBand on either wrist. We suggest you try each wrist to see which one gives you the best results. Adjust the strap so it fits snugly but comfortably – it should lie flat on your wrist without causing any discomfort. Once on your wrist, you can switch it on/off by depressing the button on the side.

Warnings

Please pay close attention to these warnings to ensure your safety and the proper functioning of your BeechBand:

  • The BeechBand is NOT splash-resistant or waterproof, and caution should be taken to avoid exposure to water and other liquids. Always remove your BeechBand before showering, bathing and swimming.
  • DO NOT expose your BeechBand to temperatures over 40°C (104°F) or under -5°C (23°F).
  • DO NOT attempt to charge or use your BeechBand if you think that water has entered the case.
  • After turning off your BeechBand, you may experience an instant return of any symptoms that were relieved whilst wearing, and they could even be more pronounced for a short while. DO NOT operate any machinery, drive, or perform any activities while wearing your BeechBand that could put you or others in danger if your BeechBand suddenly stops working, for example if the battery runs out.
  • For safe and optimal performance when charging, always use a certified safe USB cable and a plug/socket or power bank that outputs the standard USB voltage of 5V. Never use a higher voltage (e.g. 12V) as this may permanently damage your BeechBand and battery, or pose a fire risk.
  • DO NOT leave your BeechBand charging overnight. Whilst it has overcharge protection, we recommend you switch it off after 1 hour’s charging.
  • DO NOT charge on soft surfaces (e.g. beds, sofas, blankets) that can trap heat. If your BeechBand gets hot whilst charging, unplug it immediately and allow it to cool down.
  • DO NOT sleep with your band plugged in while you are wearing it.
  • DO NOT disassemble, modify, remanufacture, puncture or damage your BeechBand or its battery.
  • DO NOT remove or attempt to remove the battery, as it is not user replaceable.

Troubleshooting

If you run into any issues with your BeechBand, try these troubleshooting steps:

  • If your BeechBand isn’t turning on or stops vibrating mid-use: It is likely the battery needs recharging.
  • If your BeechBand runs out of battery and later vibrates briefly on its own: This usually means the battery has recovered enough for a small charge. Please switch off your BeechBand and charge it.
  • If your BeechBand’s vibration changes (for example slows down or changes to a continuous vibration instead of pulses):
  • This usually means the battery is about to run out.
  • If your BeechBand still doesn’t turn on after charging attempts: Check your USB cable and power source. Try an alternative cable or power source. Do not continue to try to use a power source or cable that doesn’t work.

If you have trouble turning your BeechBand on or off:

Press and hold the On/Off button for about a second.

If you have any other issues or questions, please visit our website or email us at support@beechband.com

Warranty

Your BeechBand comes with a 6-month warranty covering defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, from the date of purchase. It does not cover damages resulting from modification, accident or misuse (including exposure to liquids, as the BeechBand is not splash-resistant or waterproof). Within this period, you can return a faulty BeechBand for a replacement or full refund.

User tips: a few other things to note

tick

Ignore the device

It’s easier said than done, but the best thing to do is put it on and forget about it (it should happen naturally 15-30 minutes in)

tick

Involve friends and family

Others often spot the positive effects first, so keep people around to get their feedback too

tick

It’s different for everyone

Just as we’re all individuals, the effects will vary from person to person: for some there will be a big change, instantly, for others the impact might show up in a different area than expected or come on gradually

tick

Give it at least six weeks

The BeechBand may not be the perfect solution for everyone, but we suggest using it consistently for at least six weeks to see if you notice any changes

tick

Wearing your band differently

In our experience, adjusting the placement of the device, like switching wrists or wearing it on your ankle, can sometimes make a difference in the results
